Description

After avoiding all high school reunions, Maura dresses for her 40th in hopes that one particular classmate will be there. She’s been thinking of him. She wants to tell him that she is sorry for what happened to him, sorry for the abuse he suffered by the priests in their town's parish. When she finds him there, they talk. And she remembers the good and the bad and …what she wore when.

One high school reunion. Eight life-changing events. Nine memorable outfits.

Team

Colleen Murphy

Colleen Murphy is a first-time playwright who writes about health care—executive briefs and PowerPoint presentations—for a living. She is amazed that she wrote an 11,000-word play that never uses the word “health,” even though it’s all about wellbeing. Ms. Murphy is an associate member of the Dramatist Guild and playwriting student at the University of Chicago Graham School. You will find her in Chicago when she is not traveling for work or play. No pun intended.
